Greetings in the Name of Jehovih,
I scanned the five pages from the Encyclopedia of American Religions pertaining to Faithism. The
five pages include a title page of the Encyclopedia as well as two pages of introduction so that you
can get a sense of the reference book.
This is the encyclopedia that was used by the judge that presided over a case of a fellow Faithist
who was falsely charged with sexual molestation of his daughter by the mother. The daughter was
between the ages of below one year of age to three years of age � i.e. the mother/wife kept falsely
charging him with these obscure allegations. After two to three years of court actions, trial and I
being on the witness stand, as with other Faithists, the judge (a white female judge) not only ruled
in the father/husband's favor, but admonished the mother/wife.
The ruling showed that the religion of Faithism was not a cult � hence the pages from the
encyclopedia are below (I believe that we have Jim Dennon to thank for the entry into this reference
book). It took the Faithists of NY countless prayers and meditations, not to mention profound faith
in the Great Spirit that a favorable outcome would result � the lawyer, who was excellent, was also
an answer to our prayers and meditations. In the attorney's wildness dreams and hopes as well as
ours, no believed that a woman judge would rule in complete favor of the dad, to the point that the
only was there no joint custody, but that the mother could only see her daughter through supervised
visitations, arranged specifically by the father or that the father himself had to supervise these
visitations � which he did for a number of years. In other words, the judge recognized that the
mother (and grandmother) staged the sexually molestation and tried to fool the investigators, not
once, not twice, but three times. Doctors, medical personnel, psychologists and investigators all
documented that the culprit was not the father but the mother and the judge also ruled that Faithism
was not a cult but a bonafided religion. We believe that the dad had to go through this stressful
ordeal (the ordeal had to be bad) in order for the court to give the father full custody of the daughter
� who was a Moslem -
The girl is now a fifteen year old teenager and the father has since remarried and his wife is also a
Faithist as with the wife's biological daughter. Both daughters attend worship services honoring
Jehovih services when services are geared for the younger age group and sometimes when they are
not geared to the younger group.
I hope that this brief statement and the excerpts from the encyclopedia prove to be helpful. I have
not yet checked my email, but the dad is to email more particulars about the case, if he has not sent
them directly to you Joan at the time of this writing. The particulars would include the name of the
judge, dates of the case, case number, located of the trial, summations and any other information
that may prove to be helpful to a legal staff.
