The Oahspe Project runs entirely on volunteer time and out-of-pocket support right now. The Oahspe Wiki, the Study Edition, Faithist Collective's music, and the community registry are all built and maintained without any outside funding.
About Faithist Ministries
Faithist Ministries is an unincorporated religious association, founded by the Faithist Family Trust, to facilitate the gathering of Faithists with one another and to support them through music and through study helps like the Oahspe Wiki, the Study Edition, and the Faithist Manual. It is guided by its Overseers rather than a formal board, keeping its governance as simple as its work requires.
What donations go toward
Donations support the development and upkeep of The Oahspe Project: hosting costs, continued building of the site and its wiki, and the eventual print run of the Study Edition.
Ministry status
Faithist Ministries operates as a church/religious organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 508(c)(1)(A), which means it is treated as tax-exempt without having to apply for IRS recognition. Donations are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, though we'd recommend checking with your own tax advisor for how that applies to your specific situation. Every donation is made directly to Faithist Ministries.
